First week and stuff

Sophia is sleeping though the night now. She finally settled into a routine (adjusted to the time) since last Wednesday. She knows her nap time and means business if she misses it. She's very easy going and lots of fun. She loves to crawl around and walk with help. We purchased a little push toy to help her out with the walking. She loves it, but hasn't figured out how to turn it around, we're working on that.

Today was her first church day. We were greeted with open arms, hugs and kisses. Everyone was so excited to meet Ms. Sophia. It's nice to know how loved she is! She did very well during worship time. She got a little excited and started jumping up and down, causing her shoes to squeak. I took them off, she decided that she'd throw down. Once worship was over she started to get cranky, she was tired. I took her to the cry room, Claudine Harrington was so sweet, she joined us. She helped me entertain Sophia. After a few Sophia fell asleep.

After church we ate lunch at a local Mexican restaurant. Sophia loved the beans and rice. She also had a little bit of a soft chicken taco.

This afternoon we joined our friends for a walk to the River Front Park. Sophia didn't care much for the grass. We walked around the park, we met a family that adopted a little one from China 2 years ago. After the park we went for ice cream. Sophia shared with Mama. We came home and played for an hour then off to bed. It took her 5 minutes to fall asleep. She was tuckered out from all the fun!

Here's a few photos of her from this past week. Enjoy! :0)
